Integration combo

Shopify to Linnworks integration

Shopify is one sales channel among many. Linnworks is the multichannel operations brain: stock, listings, orders, despatch, all under one roof. Connecting them properly means Shopify becomes a real input into the wider channel mix rather than an island. Orders flow in for fulfilment, inventory and pricing push back out, and the Linnworks side stays authoritative for stock across every channel. We design, build and support Shopify-to-Linnworks integrations as a Patchworks Partner Agency, with the SLA picking up the moment cutover lands.

Flow shape

Order sync: Shopify to Linnworks

Each Shopify order arrives in Linnworks ready for picking, with stock decremented across every channel as part of the same event.

  1. Trigger Shopify Order created order/create webhook
  2. Extract Patchworks Ingest payload queue, dedupe, normalise
  3. Transform Patchworks Map to Linnworks SKUs, channels, locations
  4. Action Linnworks Create order in despatch queue
  5. Action Linnworks Allocate stock across configured warehouse
  6. Writeback Shopify Tag with Linnworks ID for audit

Illustrative only. The diagram above shows how an integration of this shape works in concept. It is not a screenshot or export of the actual Patchworks process flow; the production flow has more nodes, more branches and more error handling than a marketing page can usefully render.

Typical delivery

4 to 7 weeks for a standard delivery.

Up to 5× faster using PatchBuddy

  2. Weeks 2 to 4 Build: orders, inventory, products, fulfilment writeback.
  3. Week 5 Integration testing under realistic multi-channel order volume.
  4. Weeks 6 to 7 UAT with operations, cutover, hyper-care into retainer.

Patchworks delivery

How Patchworks shapes Shopify to Linnworks.

Linnworks has a built-in Shopify channel; what we add is the integration discipline that keeps multi-channel stock from drifting. Patchworks sits in front of Linnworks where the merchant needs deterministic event handling, retries, replay and an audit trail that survives a Linnworks outage. We build the canvases in Patchworks, version flows against the merchant's release process and hand over runbooks that cover the cases Linnworks logs alone won't tell you about.

Got more connectors that need to live in this flow? A 3PL, a marketplace, returns, a PIM, anything. We can do it. Most live integrations end up larger than a pair, all built and supported as one estate. More on multi-platform estates →
