Integration combo

Shopify to TikTok Shop integration

Shopify holds the brand catalogue. TikTok Shop is the social-first sales channel, with its own rules about listings, content tagging, creator attribution and very different ideas about latency. Connecting them properly means the catalogue publishes once and stays accurate, orders drop into Shopify for fulfilment, stock moves with the rest of the channel mix, and the TikTok-specific edge cases (content-driven creators, live shopping, commission attribution) don't bleed into the merchant's main ops. Built and supported as a Patchworks Partner Agency.

Order sync: TikTok Shop to Shopify

Each TikTok Shop order creates a structured Shopify order ready for fulfilment, with channel attribution preserved so finance can report on TikTok independently.

  1. Trigger TikTok Shop Order created order webhook
  2. Extract Patchworks Ingest order queue, dedupe
  3. Transform Patchworks Map to Shopify SKUs, channel tag, customer
  4. Action Shopify Create order with TikTok channel tag
  5. Action Shopify Allocate stock against TikTok location
  6. Writeback TikTok Shop Mark received for operator dashboard

Illustrative only. The diagram above shows how an integration of this shape works in concept. It is not a screenshot or export of the actual Patchworks process flow; the production flow has more nodes, more branches and more error handling than a marketing page can usefully render.

Patchworks delivery

How Patchworks shapes Shopify to TikTok Shop.

TikTok Shop's API surface is younger than its merchant base. Patchworks isolates merchants from that volatility: when the API shape changes we update one connector and the merchant's canvases keep working. We build the publish and the order side independently so a TikTok-side incident doesn't block other channels, and the runbook tells the on-call engineer what to do when TikTok pushes rate-limit responses faster than the merchant can fulfil.

Got more connectors that need to live in this flow? A 3PL, a marketplace, returns, a PIM, anything. We can do it. Most live integrations end up larger than a pair, all built and supported as one estate. More on multi-platform estates →
